The proposal was to add a single-story rear and side return extension to the property and to utilise the current space on the ground floor. The extension creates a new utility room adjoining a new courtyard space, with a good size kitchen, dining area with doors that open out onto the garden. The reorganisation of space on the ground floor allows an open plan living and dining room to be incorporated with access to the garden.
